BLG LOGISTICS operates in South Africa at five sites. Our subsidiary BLG Logistics of South Africa (Pty) Ltd. was founded in 2001 with its headquarters in Port Elizabeth. The company offers supply chain management plus contract and transport solutions.

Furthermore, BLG Logistics of South Africa (Pty) Ltd. is a Level-2 accredited BBBEE (Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment) company which has quickly developed into a leading logistics service provider for major groups as well as small enterprises.
In Durban, BLG LOGISTICS takes care of import and export handling of vehicles from Japan as well as the transport of vehicles and vehicle components. We also prepare vehicles in our Vehicle Preparation Center (VPC). Automobile components are also shipped in East London and Cape Town.

Unlike other large national companies which are based in Johannesburg (Gauteng), the company chose Port Elizabeth for its headquarters. This proved to be a smart decision because BLG Logistics of South Africa (Pty) Ltd. was contracted to handle customs clearance for one of the largest automobile manufacturers in the Eastern Cape region. In line with the BLG LOGISTICS strategy, more branches were opened in all the important South African cities, i.e. Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, East London, Durban, Johannesburg and Pretoria.
