On 25 April, the Cypriot Ministry of Transport, Communication and Works and the EUROGATE Consortium signed the contract for the assumption of the Limassol, Cyprus, Container Terminal. This facility can currently handle 500,000 standard containers (TEU) annually, primarily local loading to supply Cyprus. The Limassol Container Terminal is an ideal addition to the network of the EUROGATE group. With Tanger in the west, Gioia Tauro and Cagliari in the middle and Limassol in the east, EUROGATE is now present throughout the Mediterranean. The container terminal will be integrated in the network under the name “EUROGATE Container Terminal Limassol Limited”
