BLG sponsors young musicians from South Africa

The Bochabela Youth String Orchestra, formed in 1996 by American musician Peter Guy in the township of Bloemfontain, played in Bremen at the beginning of their European tour – sponsored by BLG LOGISTICS.

The Bochabela Youth String Orchestra from the South African township of Bloemfontain played yesterday evening in the upper hall of Bremen City Hall at the beginning of their European tour. As one of the concert sponsors, BLG LOGISTICS made it possible for six employees to attend the charity concert by the string orchestra. With the proceeds from the tour, the Bochabela Youth String Orchestra, which was formed in 1996 by American musician Peter Guy in the township of Bloemfontain, is financing two student places at the State Conservatory of Music in Feldkirch, Austria. Collectively, the orchestra creates career prospects for the 30 members aged between 16 and 26 years old, in which the young people can train as musicians.
