BLG LOGISTICS logistics provider for L-Nutra

Since September 2018 BLG Logistics Italia, at its warehouse located in Rho (west Milan area) - dedicated, among other things, to e-commerce activities, manages the storage, customized packaging and distribution activities, both in Italy and abroad, of L-Nutra products, consisting of food supplements and freeze-dried foods from both Italian and American production plants.

In addition to the classic logistics services such as goods receipt, order collection and shipping, the HACCP regulation for this sector has played an important role in the development of the project. To complete the offer of the services offered, the warehouse has been equipped with a dedicated area set up according to the regulations.
The first milestone was reached in 2019, with 10,000 kits cumulatively realised at the site. Business development forecasts seem promising: the monthly growth rate seems in fact destined to double, both in Italy and in Europe.

In this context the smooth exchange of information between port stakeholders is crucial from a business perspective. Even the briefest system downtimes can give rise to substantial financial losses. Within the framework of a new project codenamed SecProPort, which has attracted a subsidy of around 2.8 million euros from the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI), an industry and research consortium is developing a security architecture to comprehensively protect port logistics against cyber attacks.
