STATE-OF-THE-ART LOGISTICS SOLUTIONS
On a 115,000-m² site in Schlüchtern, BLG LOGISTICS has been operating a high-tech distribution center for a renowned producer of work and safety clothing since 2020. The facility features around one million storage spaces, more than 13 km of conveyor technology, Europe's largest spiral conveyor and futuristic shuttles.
Applying the goods-to-man principle, some 400 shuttles fully automatically navigate the aisles and deliver the required articles to the packer. After a thorough visual check, the articles are packed. In this way, around 4,000 packages can be packed hourly.
We also take care of the central processing of all Europe-wide shipping and returns.
