Since November 2021, BLG LOGISTICS has been a reliable logistics service provider for a renowned customer in the engine manufacturing industry at its Cologne location. The manufacturer can look back on an impressive history: engines have been produced here since 1864, making it the oldest engine factory in the world.
BLG LOGISTICS handles the storage and loading of all engines manufactured at the Cologne site, which covers an area of 16,500 square meters. From here, the engines are shipped to customers in Germany, Europe, and overseas. Around 100 dedicated employees ensure that all logistics processes run smoothly every day.
Our on-site services include complete logistics handling – from receiving the delivered engines and accessories to picking, packing, and shipping by truck or container. The preparation of all necessary documents and commercial processing are also part of the service offering.
