Coldstore logistics

The Bremerhaven port area provides optimal conditions for the largest industrial cold store in the city. The complete processing of frozen and refrigerated products runs seamlessly here. This is thanks to the port's function as an interface between land and sea, the proximity to important sales markets for temperature-controlled products, the high concentration of the (fish) processing industry, and also the special expertise of the increasing numbers of logistics, trade, and (food) production companies located here. The 30,000 freezing pallet places are used mainly for raw materials from overseas imports but the export clearance area is also becoming stronger.
